Sika® Cement Asfaltico

ASPHALTIC EMULSION WITH ACRYLIC RESIN AND FIBERS AS AN IMPRIMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ASPHALT MANTOS
PREFORMED AND AS MEMBRANE OF FORMATION IN SITE TO WATERPROOF TERRACES AND COVERINGS.

Sika® Cement Asfaltico serves as an adhesion and primer improver prior to installation of asphalt blankets for application to cold (pure) and heat application
(diluted with water in a 1: 3 ratio) Sika® Cement Asfaltico forms with the SikaFill Refuerzo product (polyester fabric, reinforcement) a system for waterproofing covers and buried elements, having to apply a reflective paint as UV protection as finished.

- Greater flexibility and adhesion than conventional emulsions.
- Greater resistance to aging, does not crystallize with time.
- The fibers form a fabric that gives greater resistance to cracks.
- Adheres on wet surfaces ≤ 7% H5.
- Easy application.
- It is not toxic, free of solvents.

Uso

Sika® Cement Asfaltico is used to: Cold waterproofing of roofs, decks, decks and gutters, on supports in wood, concrete or mortar.
As a primer for the placement of blankets and asphalt fabrics.

PREPARACION DEL SUSTRATO

Surface Preparation:
The slopes and downspouts must be adequate to avoid loops of water. The surface must be clean.
Surface Preparation:
Sika® Cement Asfaltico comes ready for use. Homogenize the product before applying.

APLICACIÓN

1. As a primer:

Spread a layer of Sika® Cement Asfaltico, diluted with water in a 3: 1 ratio (Sika® Cement Asfaltico - Water) with a brush, brush or soft brush, let it dry for 24 hours.

2. As an asphalt membrane for on-site training.

Apply a pure layer of Sika® Cement Asfaltico and spread a polyester fiber cloth (SikaFill Refuerzo), being careful not to leave air pockets and ensuring that it is completely adhered, let dry. Then apply one or two additional layers of Sika® Cement Asfaltico as finishing. Protect the waterproofing of the sun's rays with a layer of SikaFill 5 Rapido white or ImperSika white, according to the need. It supports maintenance pedestrian traffic.
